Meet Laura, an Italian who loves English pubs and long country walks!

What was your reason for moving to London?

To learn English

What is it about London that made you want to move here?

Loved its energy.

What do you miss most about Italy?

My childhood friends, going skiing, the yummy smell of a top quality Mortadella.

What advice would you give to anyone else planning to move over to London from Italy?

It's not an easy ride but it's worthy. Visit Soho during the day, order a caffe' in Bar Italia and spend two hours there soaking up the vibe of this wonderful city.

Any top tips about Italian fashion that you’re willing to share?

Black is never boring.

Do you think that as an Italian you are generally stereotyped?

Hardly + Only ignorant people do it. Therefore it doesn't bother me.

Inter or AC?

Juventus, now Fulham. Loving the black & white combo.

Has the moon ever hit your eye like a big pizza pie?

Always when I fall in love.

What is your favourite English tradition/custom?

Going for a long walk in the country side and then sit in front of a fire place in a cosy pub drinking a pint with friends.

Prosecco or Champagne?

Prosecco, Champagne is soooooo yesterday! Whilst the future is Lambrusco...mark my words!

What do you miss most about Italy?

See answer nr 3

If you were going to sell Italy in 2 words what would you say?

Effortlessly beautiful

Who is the biggest Italian music artist at the moment?

Somebody loud?!

In your opinion what is the greatest Italian dish of all time?

My mum's homemade Tortellini in a rich Capon broth, served on Christmas day.

Which four people would you invite to your dinner party?

Four of my closest friends.
